My recent stay at Fern Hill Hotel was a pleasant experience overall. the room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities like a good supply of tea and coffee, a flat-screen TV, and a cozy sitting area. the shower in the bathroom was refreshing and the ironing facilities were a nice touch. the complimentary welcome drink and shortbread in the room added a personal touch to the stay. The location of the hotel, although not within walking distance to Lyme Regis or Charmouth, was convenient for exploring south Dorset and south Devon by car. the hotel staff were polite and accommodating, always willing to offer recommendations for dining and activities in the area. The highlight of my stay was definitely the delicious food and efficient service at the on-site restaurant. the breakfast buffet was copious and of high quality, while the dinner menu offered a varied selection at a reasonable price. the outdoor swimming pool was a nice addition, perfect for a relaxing dip after a day of sightseeing. I would recommend Fern Hill Hotel as a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the surrounding areas of Dorset and Devon, offering a good balance of value and luxury for the cost.
